Practical Test Tips

For your Automatic and Manual driving tests, the preparation remains the same.
Your driving test covers the following aspects; Rules of the Road, Risk perception, Eco Driving, Hazard Awareness and Good Driving Behaviour. So, be prepared!
Our driving school vehicles are brand new and fitted with dual controls. You are therefore sure of a safe and smooth ride throughout your lessons.

Things to do on the day of your test!

1. Check your car to make sure you have enough oil and water.
2. Make sure all your documents are in order: Invitation letter, ID and learners permit.
3. Check that your brake light, indicators and wipers are functioning. 
4. Ensure your L plates are visible on the car.
5. Your Road Tax, NCT, and Insurance disc must be displayed.
6. Check that your tyre tread depth is not less than the legal minimum limit of 1.6mm.
7. Your car should be reasonably clean. 
8. Arrive at the test centre in good time - at least 20 minutes before your appointed time.
